About Us

Schoolfriend is the world’s first interactive learning system. Our unique, internet-based programme helps 4-13 year olds improve their maths, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation and grammar.

Children have improved their school results by up to 67% with regular use of Schoolfriend. A year-long independent study by the Institute of Education confirmed that children using Schoolfriend show an improved level of literacy and numeracy beyond that expected from daily attendance at school.

Schoolfriend exercises are designed to last approximately 15-20 minutes and are recommended for use three to four times a week.

Individual treatment, without the cost of private tuition
Schoolfriend works like a private tutor on the computer, generating tailor-made exercises to suit each child’s ability. Previously completed exercises act as a diagnostic tool for determining the next exercise, made up from a unique selection of questions, pooled from a database of hundreds of thousands of questions.

Fun and interactive
Despite being unashamedly academic, all exercises are fun and interactive. Children love the fact that they get instant feedback, with their exercises being marked immediately.

Confidence building
Schoolfriend increases self-confidence and enables children to quickly progress in areas that they’ve mastered while spending more time covering the basics in problem areas. By working according to their own ability and speed, each child achieves results from day one and can enjoy seeing a rapid improvement in their marks.

Help always at hand
Built in hints are available to prompt children who are stuck on a particular problem, so they don’t have to wait to ask an adult. If a child is completely stuck, our tutorials provide step-by-step guides to working out and understanding problems.

Reports for parents and teachers
Via a secure login, parents and teachers can access individual reports on each child’s progress. Daily progress is tracked, producing a measurement that correlates to the National Curriculum. Reports are broken down by specific topics, also indicating areas of weakness that the programme has concentrated on.

Complementing school work
Based on the National Curriculum, all exercises have been designed by highly experienced education professionals and subject specialists. Schoolfriend complements work done in the classroom, and can be used to set homework exercise or identify weakness areas on which to focus in lesson plans. Parents and teachers can even ask the programme to focus on a particular topic in preparation for a lesson or exam.
